De internationale cast beschikte over een van de grootste lyrische mezzos van het Rossini repertoire - de Amerikaanse Joyce DiDonato is Rosina. De Duits-Italiaanse ster tenor Roberto Sacca verzorgt de rol van haar verleider en graaf Almaviva wordt gezongen door de Tsjechische bariton Dalibor Jenis, momenteel een van de beste Figaros. De delicate Spaanse bas bariton Carlos Chausson is Bartolo, Rosina's voogd en de IJslandse bas Kristinn Sigmundsson als de nieuwsgierige muziekleraar Basilio.
