Vereist enige voorkennis, maar voor de geïnteresseerde is het is goed boek. De auteur heeft zelf veel in het vakgebied gedaan en gebruikt daarom soms termen die hij zelf heeft geïntroduceerd (achtergrond informatie is dus alleen te vinden in zijn eigen papers). De Nederlandse versie heeft (in tegenstelling tot deze versie, waarin alleen Pascal staat) ook MATLAB scripts achterin welke kunnen helpen bij het inzicht krijgen in de materie, deze script kunnen echter met enige kennis van MATLAB prima zelf worden geschreven.
