    Positieve punten

    • Compleet

    De beschrijving is correct. Dit is het beste werk van de Engelse professor Robert Service. De invloed van Lenin op de Russische en wereldgeschiedenis is gigantisch. De afstand in tijd tot de gebeurtenissen maakt dat deze objectief beschreven kunnen worden. Voor een historicus is dit verplichte kost. Voor anderen is het noodzakelijk snel Engels te kunnen lezen, anders kom je er niet in een paar weken doorheen. Het is wel heel goed voor je algemene ontwikkeling. De opkomst van het communisme wordt beschreven. Ondanks de vele feitjes, maakt de kalme neutrale toon van Service dit een goed leesbaar boek.
