Vandaag na de CD-uitgave ook de Vinylversie van "On Air-Live at the BBC Volume2" ontvangen. Een absolute must voor elke rechtgeaarde Beatles-fan. De uitgave is prachtig verzorgd met glossy foto's, mooie massieve LP's (3stuks i.p.v 2 cd's) en aardige, illustratieve teksten van zowel Paul McCartney als Kevin Howlett (de samensteller van deze compilatie). Koop hem nu, het is zeer de moeite waard en dit soort objecten groeien snel in waarde! Over de muziek valt alleen maar te zeggen, dat The Beatles Live vaak net zo goed waren als in de studio, soms zelfs beter en ondanks dat het al zo lang geleden is opgenomen, klinkt het of dat vandaag was...

Gisteren de twee delen van de BBC albums van de beste band allertijden ontvangen. Heb al jaren geen draaitafel meer, ga daar werk van maken. Had de cd versie al, dus ik ken de muziek zeer goed; prachtige uitgave op luxevinyl, prachtige klaphoes met 3 elpees, dit is voor de echte Beatlesliefhebber puur smullen!
