Postkapitalisme heet het nieuwe economische model dat Paul Mason beschrijft.
Historisch onderbouwd en met een plan van aanpak voor de komende 50! jaar.
Zo lang duurt het voordat alle problemen waar we nu mee worden geconfronteerd (schulden, klimaat, migratiestromen en werkeloosheid) zijn opgelost. Maar het is mogelijk en biedt kansen voor iedereen (links én rechts) om er nu aan te gaan werken!
Het boek leest als een spannende roman. De historische uitweidingen zijn soms wel wat lang, maar je leest door omdat je benieuwd bent naar de oplossingen. Die komen er ook en ga ik hier niet verklappen. Je moet namelijk wel het hele verhaal tot je nemen, want anders zal zijn alternatieve model snel worden afgedaan als luchtfietserij.
Piketty is een voetnoot geworden in dit boek. Ik hoop dat er nog veel meer discussie komt over post kapitalisme, want "zonder gedoe geen verandering". Het is het waard!
