Following on from Alan Moore's extraordinary and influential run on the series, his long-time collaborator Rick Veitch took up the reins to continue Moore's masterful and controversial work. Swamp Thing and Abby Arcane have conceived a child - with the help of master magician John Constantine (Hellblazer), which they intend to become the new Earth elemental.
