T4a and Other Places

This book is divided into two sections. Section one consists of travelogs from Aileen Boules Zollweg's travels. Stories about some unusual event like the cruise ship getting stuck in the silt of the Nile River. The stories in section two are fiction. Waiting in T4A while a surgeon replaced arteries in her husband's heart Ms. Zollweg watched three workmen repair a soft drink dispenser and the old man's reaction to his wife's death. These are inserted in a fictional story. People she met in various writer's workshops appear together in WRITE ABOUT WHAT YOU KNOW but the storyteller is based on a friend who is not a writer. Ms. Zollweg stayed in the hotel with bunkers built by Nazi soldiers described in MY LIFE OF CRIME BEGAN ON THE ZEIDER ZEE but the story is fiction. She is an artist but has never painted forgeries.
