Geschreven bij The Heart of the Night
het boek heeft zo'n zes verhaallijnen, die elkaar raken of samen verder gaan. Alle personen in dit boek hebben een verhaal te vertellen dat de moeite waard is. De oorlogstijd wordt van verschillende kanten belicht en toch is het geen somber boek, wel spannend. Een echte aanrader, zoals eigenlijk alle boeken van deze schrijfster.
