This wonderful volume brings together three of Carroll's major works, the two dedicated to the amazing adventures of Alice, the only character who submits to logic and reason in a fantasy world, and The Hunt for the Snark, the story in eight episodes of an expedition aimed at capturing a snake-shark hybrid. In addition, this edition incorporates in the two texts of Alice the unsurpassed drawings of John Tenniel, colored by Fritz Kredel and those of Henry Holiday in the case of The Hunt For The Snark. The texts are accompanied by the author's original prologues, and by a series of short documents about the creative process of the works in question.
