Margarita Liberaki

Margarita Liberaki (1919-2001) werd geboren in Athene, waar ze opgroeide bij haar grootouders, die een boekwinkel en een uitgeverij hadden. Ze schreef drie romans en meerdere toneelstukken en scenario’s. Drie zomers is nu een standaardwerk in het Griekse literatuuronderwijs en Liberaki wordt beschouwd als een van de belangrijkste Griekse schrijvers van de twintigste eeuw.
