Ragnar Jonasson is een fijne schrijver, zijn Dark Icelandserie (5x Ari Thor) is a must read voor het Scandic Noir genre. In mijn beleving behoorlijk uniek, goede personages, prima setting en heldere verhaallijnen. Inmiddels heeft Jonasson ook een tweede serie afgerond die mij veel leesplezier heeft bezorgd. Een echte aanrader.
Het verhaal is groots in de kleine details, ook het simpele leven kan meer dan gecompliceerd zijn. Jonasson weet telkens met een mooie touch de diverse ontwikkelingen en de samenhang met interacties geloofwaardig weer te geven.
Ari Thor is mij dierbaar geworden, IJsland is heel bijzonder.
