Defiance

It begins when an ancient vampire is accidentally awakened from a centuries-old slumber. This vampire's young, frail, almost innocent appearance belies the immeasurable intelligence, power, and unmitigated evil that lies within the core of her being. And, this cold, calculating creature has only one goal in mind--to bring under her thrall the Maximoff twins, whom she sees as her progeny because they share an unbreakable link of blood.


However, both Ryan and Rayna Maximoff refuse to submit to anyone's will, not if they can help it! So, this malicious being plans on doing whatever she can to try and change their mind, even if it means she has to viciously murder everyone that they hold dear, including a certain blonde bartender named Erica Manning!
