Doug Lansky, a writer and a traveler, has chronicled his travels around the world in his hilarious and vividly descriptive column, The Vagabond. Verwacht van dit boek geen tips en trics over verschillende locaties, kaarten van steden of hotels en restaurants... Dit boek is wel geweldig om je op weg te zetten bij het plannen van een langdurige reis.
Speel je met het idee om eens een lange reis te maken maar heb je nog niet veel ervaring. Dit boek zal je goed op weg zetten om je plannen concreet te maken.

Als je al veel opzoek werk hebt gedaan is het boek iets minder vernieuwend, maar daarom niet nutteloos, integendeel. Ik heb er zelf al veel plezier aan beleefd. Het is ook gewoon heel aangenaam en grappig geschreven en leest vlot.
