Kira is a #1 New York Times bestselling author, professional screenwriter, playwright, and ghostwriter. Her ghostwritten and credited books have secured contracts with Big-5 publishers, including multi-book offers from HarperCollins and Scholastic. Her most recent novel, Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Silver Eyes (Scholastic 2016), coauthored with Scott Cawthon, was a #1 New York Times bestseller for 15 weeks. A graduate of Cornell University with a degree in history, Kira began her career in writing as a playwright, focusing largely on social justice and youth education issues.
