In 2007, Peter and Kerstin started an IVF program. Three years later, the only result was three lost pregnancies. 'Three times fat' and nothing followed the entire period: from year to year, month to month, day to day and even from hour to hour when we experienced high hopes, bitter disappointment, great joy and great sorrow. Told through Peter's eyes, the chronological narrative is interspersed with philosophical comment about the loss of a child, life without children, and what it does to a person's outlook on life. A moving account. Peter Euler (1967, Drachten) started writing down his experiences after he lost his second and third child. He wanted to share the whole story with his family and friends because they knew the outcome, but not the details. He soon realized that others could benefit from the book.
