Negatief, positief, neutraal: we zetten een review altijd online. We controleren wel eerst of ’ie voldoet aan onze reviewvoorwaarden en niet nep is. We controleren ook of ’ie is geschreven door iemand die het artikel heeft gekocht via bol.com en zetten dit er dan bij. De controles gebeuren automatisch, al kijken er soms mensen mee. Bol.com betaalt niet voor reviews. Als een reviewer door een andere partij is vergoed, staat dit in de review zelf.

Ik kocht dit boek om mijn c# kennis nog eens bij te scharpen...

Ik was vroeger reeds grote fan van de wrox boeken! (Maar begin o.a. door onderstaande toch meer en meer naar A-press te gaan).

Na enkele hoofdstukken lezen begon ik toch serieus aan mijzelf te twijfelen.
Ik was het vaak niet eens met de inhoud en de antwoorden (op de vragenlijsten) waren mijn inzien nogal vaak fout of dubbelzinnig.

Tot ik eens ging zien in de errata op de Wrox Website.
Bleek de errata reeds bijna een boek op zich te zijn :(
Pagina's lang met rechtzettingen van typo's en technische blunders.

Ik sloeg een zucht van opluchting dat het dus toch niet aan mijzelf lag.
Langs de andere kant was ik wel teleurgesteld om een boek vol fouten te lezen.
De typo's tot daar aan toe, maar dat er technische onjuistheden in staan is niet goed te praten. Hierdoor is het zeer moeilijk leesbaar (omdat je bij elke fout begint te twijfelen).

Ondertussen heb ik nog extra fouten ontdekt en doorgegeven aan Wrox, maar daar komt geen reactie op (reeds 3 weken geleden).

Ik vind het belangrijk dat boeken snel de technologie volgen, maar dit mag niet als gevolg hebben dat ze nauwelijks worden nagelezen door hun (technical) reviewers.
Het was hier zeer duidelijk dat het snel naar de drukkerij moest.

Tip voor de kopers:
Download eerst alle errata.. voorzie enkele uren tijd om de fouten te corrigeren in het boek... en begin dan pas te lezen.
