Ik vind dit een goed boek. Als je een totale "leek" bent wat betreft honkbal, is dit zeker een aanrader. Het is vrij duidelijk uitgelegd, alhoewel er soms een onderwerp te summier besproken wordt. Afkortingen zoals RBI, AVG enz. worden niet allemaal besproken(of komt voorbij zonder uitleg) wat toch handig is voor bijvoorbeeld het bekijken van een wedstrijd op de televisie. Er mogen soms wel wat meer illustraties bij omdat het uit de tekst niet allemaal duidelijk wordt. Verder is het boek ietsje verouderd waardoor sommige spelers uit de mlb nog genoemd worden die al niet meer spelen(in de major league dan). Het is prettig te lezen en er zit zo nu en dan een vleugje humor in.
