Geschreven bij Chinese Medical Qigong

chinese medical qi gong heeft mij als therapeut die al meer dan40 jaar in de Chinese geneeskunde actief is heel erg verbaasd. in de eerste plaats door de gedrevenheid en de exacte weergave van de stof, die toch heel oud is en gedurende vele jaren zelfs in China nog nauwelijks werd onderwezen. nu zijn hier een reeks eminente professoren en linguïstische specialisten samen gekomen om een zo exact mogelijke vertaling van een Chinese geneeskundige discipline te vertalen; en het is nog gelukt ook.
het boek is heel interessant omdat het naast een therapeutisch gedeelte ook nog een geschiedkundig en cultureel gedeelte heeft wat het boek echt interessant maakt, de meeste collegae in het westen kenen uiteindelijk niet zo veel van de Chinese cultuur; dit in de eerste plaats omdat de Chinese cultuur en literatuur ook niet zo onmiddellijk toegankelijk zijn.
dit boek is een echte aanrader voor iedereen die naast acupunctuur ook nog andere disciplines van de Chinese geneeskunde wil leren.
