Opnieuw een thriller die zich afspeelt in de kunstwereld, ditmaal gaat het over Francis Goya, de beroemde Spaanse schilder. De verschillende verhaallijnen en de constante afwisseling en schakeling tussen toen en nu worden op een ingenieuze manier met elkaar verbonden. Dit boek van Alex Connor geeft een goed beeld van de tijd waarin Francis Goya leefde en geeft je ook een goed idee van hoe de kunstwereld in elkaar steekt. De hoofdpersonen worden boeiend beschreven en het verhaal is zeer meeslepend met onverwachte plotwendingen.
