Samenvatting

The Licensing Act 2003 will mark a major shift in licensing law and practice by establishing a unified system of regulation of the sale and supply of alcohol, the provision of regulated entertainment and the provision of late night refreshment. The new system of licensing will be operated through a range of authorisations issued by local authorities. All of those involved in implementing, enforcing and advising upon the new regime will need to have a detailed knowledge of the Act.
