This is really an advertisement for the tour featuring vintage circus Girlie show type ad copy. Madonna has one paragraph describing her inspiration. The photos of the tour itself are hit or miss. And I would have like to have seen costume/set drawings, the painting that inspired this tour, notes on its production, the song choices, etc. But clearly that is not what this book was meant to be. So there you go. As for the CD, some additional song choices might have been good, since some of the arrangements and vocals on this tour were so interesting. But most people who will get this book are collectors and fans of the show.
