Ayn Rand
Ayn Rand (1905-1982) is een invloedrijke schrijfster en filosofe. Ze werd geboren in Sint-Petersburg. Als opgroeiend meisje zag ze de negatieve kanten van de Russische revolutie. Na haar afstuderen emigreerde ze in 1926 naar de Verenigde Staten, in haar ogen het land waar een individu zichzelf kan zijn.
