    Geschreven bij Welcome to the Universe

    Mooi boek, prachtige materie. De hoofdstukken zijn wel van erg verschillend (abstractie) niveau. Soms een paar pagina's met wiskundige bewijzen en op andere momenten heel beschouwend. 't Voelt eerder als een verzameling college's dan als een coherent boek.
    Op een eReader komen de foto's niet echt tot hun recht (logisch).

    Geschreven bij Welcome to the Universe

    Erg mooi boek. In het Engels lezen is wel wat moeilijker, maar biedt een extra uitdaging naast de wetenschap die op een heldere manier wordt uitgelegd. Je kunt meerekenen met wat er wordt gemeld. In het NRC heeft een interessante recensie gestaan. Dat was de reden dat ik dit boek direct besteld heb.
