Geweldige aanvulling op de Bijbel. Veel Bijbelverhalen, met name in Genisis, kunnen wat oppervlakkig zijn. Neem het verhaal van Jozef of Mozes. Flavius Josephus gaat in op het volledige verhaal van de twee, waardoor je onder meer leert over Mozes aan het hof van de Farao. Dit zijn uiterst interessante onderwerpen, gezien dit de wereld was die de nieuw testamentische apostelen kenden.
