Swept Away A Novella

Daphne Edwards lives her life, carefully, day in and day out. A survivor of horrible childhood sexual and physical abuse, she's very cautious when it comes to men. Dateless, but content with her life, Daphne meets the handsome Evan Mitchell and is swept off her feet and into romantic bliss. Lavishing gifts, compliments and eventually smoldering kisses, Evan becomes a part of Daphne's world and it seems she has finally met The One. But little things about Evan start to pick at Daphne and she becomes unsure about him as his behavior grows more and more violent, his comments and actions towards her dangerous as she tries to hold onto their relationship.
