Super interessante periode om over te lezen, vooral het begin met alle beschrijvingen van beschavingen en vondsten is zeker lezenswaardig. Maar daarna blijft de auteur steken in het constant herhalen van wat hij al gezegd heeft, pagina's lang. Jammer. Dit boek toch al niet dikke boek had de helft van het aantal pagina's kunnen bestrijken.
