Donna was born and raised in Connecticut, in the small town of Willimantic. Life was not easy for Donna while she was growing up because of her weight problem, which started right from preschool and continued through adulthood. As you read about her trials and tribulations while she was growing up, you will learn about the decision she finally felt compelled to make. Realizing that she had tried everything she could to lose weight and had not been successful, she chose a drastic measure. Preparation was only the beginning of her journey.
