Het boek is het vierde deel uit de serie. Er is meer van hetzelfde, meer geweld, moord, wraak en dood. Maar ook liefde, verlangen, verdriet om verlies en vergeving. Vooral liefde en hoop. De schrijfster heeft een gebruik van woorden die betovert, zij is de kehanni van dit verhaal, zij is Laia zelf. Alleen iemand die lijden kent, kan dit boek schrijven. Het laatste hoofdstuk is schitterend, ontroerend.

Ik hield van de hele serie maar dit boek heeft echt een speciale plek in mijn hart. Het laatste boek is erg mooi en heeft een passend einde. Ik raad hem zeker aan aan mensen die houden van actie en magie.
