Het boek laat zien hoe de modellen zoals die gebruikt zijn in de Battlestar Galactica series (muv Galactica 1980) zijn ontstaan en gemaakt. Het verschil in techniek tussen de jaren '70 en het begin van de 21ste eeuw is zeer goed terug te vinden en ook zeer interessant om te ontdekken.
