It combines international relations approaches, demography research, and legal studies to conceive the recent demographic trends and social transformations in China and across the world. The book prioritizes the anthropological viewpoint to provide a better understanding of demographic phenomena and combine an anthropological demography perspective with complexity thinking and geopolitics. Armando Aliu is Assistant Professor at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland). He is currently a Visiting Fellow at the German Institute for Global Area Studies (GIGA) in Hamburg (Germany). He is member of the European Association for Chinese Studies, Max Planck Alumni Association, UN Migration Research Hub and ACUNS.
