J.J. Arcanjo is een half Portugese, half Engelse schrijver die opgroeide in de Algarve en Devon. Hij behaalde een master in Creative Writing en Publishing en werkt als redacteur bij uitgeverij Bloomsbury in Londen. De eerste jaren van zijn leven bracht hij door in Portugal.
