De ‘Dance Classics’-serie is een fenomeen dat al sinds de jaren tachtig bestaat en nog steeds zeer succesvol is. Een aantal keer per jaar wordt de serie uitgebreid met nieuwe delen. De nieuwste editie bestaat uit delen 57 en 58. Op deze dubbelcd staan hits van onder anderen Luther Vandross, Kool & the Gang, Cameo, Five Star, Rose Royce en Mel & Kim.

Ook dit deel van de Dance Classics-serie is weer een mooie verzameling disco en funk-classics uit de jaren '80. Er staan bijna allemaal clubhits op maar ook wat minder bekende clubplaten. Van mij mag deze serie nog heel lang doorgaan!
