Great book, very interesting and a must-read for anyone with an interest in British (royal) history. I suggest starting with Alison Weir's book 'The lady Elizabeth' about Elizabeths early life, from when she was about 4 years old untill she became queen at 25. This book will pick up at the point where the last book ended and will start around the time of her coronation. The first book was written in the style of a novel but this book is more a biography summing up lots of facts and introducing lots and lots of people making it sometimes difficult to keep them apart.
Eventhough the style if quite different the book is still very interesting, it also contains some black and white photos of painting of the main characters in the book.Vond je dit een nuttige review?30
