Had verwacht dat het een encyclopedie betrof met alle vliegtuigen uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, maar dit is niet het geval, er worden ca 50/60 van de belangrijkste type vliegtuigen (jagers, bommenwerpers, transport toestellen enz) wel diepgaand besproken.
Het illustratief gedeelte is goed verzorgd.
