Talon has been around for hundreds of years. At one time he was a powerful dragon, but was cursed by a witch and is now a toy. Over the years, he has suffered humiliation and torture. He seeks a friend and Sherman is a very good candidate.

With little convincing, and defying his wife's wishes, Sherman adopts Talon.

Thus, begins the Journey of a docile man and a wise dragon that leads to profound discoveries and everlasting friendship.
