Sweet Country Hearts- Holding Him

Gage is getting ready to make the biggest decision of his life. He knows he wants to get out of his small town, and that working at the liquor store and local nursery isn’t going to bring him happiness. So he has decided to sign up with the Army and see where that will take him. But with just eleven days to go before he’s shipped off to Basic Training, he runs into someone at the grocery store that will make him want to rethink everything. Tildi is counting the days till she can scrap together enough money to leave town forever. She plans to turn her back on everything, including her family, and never look back. Though all she has is her artistic talents, she is determined to succeed in life because anywhere is better than the hell hole she’s been living in all her life. And the last thing she needs in her life is some sort of distraction. But when she meets Gage in the grocery store, she can’t help but feel relaxed around him and has a deep desire to get to know him better. But of course life is never as easy as love at first site. With just eleven days to go before Gage ships out, he will have to put faith in God that Tildi was put into his life for a reason. In just a few days, he has already decided that he loves Tildi and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. But can Tildi let go of her past enough to let down her walls and let Gage in? She is feeling the same things for this wonderful man that God has brought into her life, but could she honestly be happy with a man who is so better off without her? As they overcome many struggles in just a few days, they’ll come to understand that everything happens for a reason, even very painful things.
