Footsteps in the Sand I was washed away for a loss of time I tossed and learned I awakened because of you I shredded the clothes of tears that needed to find you I was washed to gain my strength and then I met you Donat let the tide wash away the prints of my life I have more; more footprints to make on the sand Donat stop making stairs on the rainbows in the air I have more steps to climb I just have more air to breathe Of my title, for the second set that covers the sand next to mine That holds the journal of my soul And all my shoes that I have well they all need love When I met you, it was the layers of faith And in your dreams a shadow of a dent on my bed next to me I washed of aHima that surrounded me By making footprints in the sand. There is a reason for the behaviors of today, which is a root of the past. There is a aGod.a There is a dent in your pillow at night. He has been there for you all along. You have to be willing to let Him worry for you. You have to be willing to feel Him and He then in return will help you. You have to be willing to ask Him. These writings are from my heart, and to all the people out there who have gone through depression and/or some form of posttraumatic stress disorder. There is light at the end of the tunnel. When the piles of leaves are too big to climb out or you are feeling trapped and canat escape, there is a reason greater than the eye of the beholder can see. When you only see darkness, there is light under the leaves of the willow oak tree. You have to live through it, keep going and do not stop believing. There is help if you need it. There is faith if you believe in it. There is always hope; hold onto it. There is love. Therefore you are not alone. The truth is the light. There is someone for everyone. Live, love, and laughaif you lose the laughter, what happened to your soul? To love again is loving life in every moment of the day.
