This poetry collection mainly explores human emotions. In an average day we all experience so many emotions and this is normal because we are imperfect and mortal humans. Though we may be placed in the same situation as another person we will always react in different ways because we are all different and unique. This collection of poems is what I have written from the age of 14 until now, exploring my own emotions and writing them down along the way.

This mini poetry book is personal and real. You get a feeling that the poems within the book are the real experiences of the author. It’s relatable to some of society’s present issues from a personal vantage point. The book is a fast and easy read with pictures that accompany the feeling of the poem. The most memorable for me was , “Dear Mother and Father, it really tells a story about the relationship between the author and her parents, to the point where I recognize similarities in the relationship with my own parents.

Good the book a try, I’m sure one of those poems will speak to you too.
