Information Systems Development Towards a Service Provision Society

This volume constitutes the published proceedings of the 17th International Conference on Information Systems Development. They present the latest and greatest concepts, approaches, and techniques of systems development - a notoriously transitional field.

Information Systems Development: Towards a Service Provision Society is the collected proceedings of the Seventeenth International Conference on Information Systems Development: Towards a Service Provision Society – ISD 2008 Conference, held in Paphos, Cyprus. It follows in the tradition of previous conferences in the series in exploring the connections between industry, research and education.

Furthermore,toacknowledgethequalityofthereviewshecompleted,thequality ofthepaperhesubmitted,hisroleasatrackandsessionchair,andhisgeneralparticipationinthe conference,wehaveawardedanOverallContributionAwardtoMichaelLangoftheNationalUniversity of Ireland, Galway.
