Een vergelijking met Lily Allen is wat dat betreft snel gemaakt, maar muzikaal klinkt deze dame eigenzinniger en soms wat ruiger, met lekkere beats en pittige gitaren. Een vrouw heeft echter vele kanten en zo kan Kate ook intiem en lieflijk uit de hoek komen, met mooie kleine liedjes.
