Studying microscope samples This microscope allows for viewing almost any transparent samples, for example a water drop, mosquito's wing, or ready-to-use microscope slides. The specimen should be placed on the round-shaped stage and fixed with two clamps – that way it will always stay in place, even if the child accidently pushes the instrument. The lower light passes through the sample and forms an image in the eyepiece. The brightness level is adjustable – you can easily find the optimal lighting for a particular microscope sample.
