Ik heb het boek twee keer gelezen (alsook de twee eerdere boeken van Dr. Chan) en het is simpelweg geweldig. Dr. Chan vind een goede combinatie tussen theorie en praktische oefeningen in MatLab om zelf aan de slag te gaan met het bouwen van algoritmes.

Hij behandelt de belangrijkste machine learning algoritmes voor het bouwen van beleggingsstrategiën. Daarnaast behandelt hij onder welke voorwaarden deze algoritmes werken en onder welke voorwaarden ze niet werken en waar je allemaal rekening mee moet houden.

Na 2 jaar hierop studeren heb ik mijn eigen beleggings algoritme geprogrammeerd, met dank aan dit boek.

Kortom, een absolute aanrader.
