Marlee and Cody Meet the Healthybelly Gang

We wanted to create a fun and engaging story that provided children with an incentive to eat fruits and vegetables. "Marlee and Cody Meet The Healthybelly Gang" is written for children ages 4-7, with discussion points that both parents and teachers will want to have in order to promote healthy eating.When Marlee and Cody go shopping for treats at a grocery store managed by Max Healthybelly, they meet a group of rambunctious fruits and vegetables who encourage them to eat healthy. During this extra-ordinary experience, Marlee and Cody are told, "Your body is your house, really your home. You need to make it strong to the bone" at which point their bodies are magically changed into houses. They then return home to share their story with their mother. Marlee and Cody are joined by all the fruits and vegetables and together, ask the reader to join The Healthybelly Gang.
