The book treats Matthew’s Gospel as an independent portrait of Christ, but also coordinates with the other Gospels to provide a clear picture of Matthew’s view of the life and times of Jesus the Christ. The book takes a dispensational view of Christ’s first advent salvific mission and eschatological prophecies, including an explanation for the seeming postponement of the Kingdom.
