From B.B.King's Blues to the Soul of Beverly Knights, from REM to American college bands, the Montreux Jazz Festival is the most successful and respected European jazz festival in the world. Over the last 30 years it has attracted the finest artists and remains the dream-child of one individual - Claude Nobs. This DVD presentation follows Nobs during the 1999 festival, as he books, entertains and performs with some of the world's greatest musicians. The B.B.King Montreux Workshop 1999 - completet B.B.King is THE Blues guitarist. This living legend boasts a devoted international following of both young and old. He is one of the most popular performers at the Montreux Jazz Festival. The B.B.King Workshop is always a highlight of the festival.
