I want this book to be a tribute to my mother who commited suicide just 2 weeks after my 13th birthday and I want people to know what an amazing mother she was, she had shaped me into the mum I am to my own son which is completely devoted affectionate and that family is everything. Bernadette margaret mc Laughlin was my mother she was the kindest most generous mother in the whole world. She became a broken woman after my father left and was never the same. She's my angel in the sky and I know she is watching down protecting us. My name is jodie I want to tell my story to help people who have also lost someone to inspire them and also to women who have been in abusive relationships that men who mentally abuse you are just insecure themselves and don't let anyone break you. Its dosnt matter where you have come from you can be anything you want to be and do anything you want. I now live in west london with my beautiful son who is 7 I'm doing a degree in photography and I'm planning to write another book in the future I love my family very much my brother my niece my sister in law and my son are my whole world I'm very happy.
