Nexx presents the ultimate adventure helmet. The X.WED2 is the long awaited successor of the Nexx XD1 and sets a new benchmark for functionality and versatility in the ADV segment. The X.WED2 is a prime example of form after function. The outer shell is constructed from multiaxial fiberglass, organic 3D fibers combined with aramid and carbon fiber. The result is a helmet that is low weight, despite being packed with features. The outer shell comes in 3 different sizes (XXS-S / M-L / XL-XXXL) to keep the weight and dimensions down as much as possible. The visor is adjustable (10mm up or down) and is very easily detachable thanks to the X-lock quick release system. This release system also allows you to keep the visor in place and instead remove the face shield. This means the helmet is easy to transform into a proper off road helmet without any efforts! If you do like the versatility the visor offers you can always leave it installed and use a pair of goggles anyway. Just flip the visor open and you're good to go! Or even better, use the Nexx Quick Strap Goggle system to hook up a pair of goggles to the side pods of the helmet.

Let's look at the interior parts of the X.WED2. You will find a drop down internal sun visor, emergency quick release cheek pads and a removable breath guard and chin curtain. The Air Dynamic Ventilation System with 3 large inlets on top and 2 outlet vents is very effective thanks to their positioning underneath the visor and the large air channels in the EPS shell of the helmet. The large air intake on the chin can also be replaced by a dirt grill to allow for even more air circulation. The interior is completely removable and washable. Compared to the XD1, the interior of the X.WED2 has been improved to conduct more fresh air around the top of your head and the cheek pads give a better snug fit around the lower facial area. Together with the new chin curtain, the X.WED2 has vastly improved on wind noise levels and wearing comfort.

Where the X.WED2 really excels at, is accessories and extras. The helmet comes with a visor extender, the chin vent grill mentioned earlier, a Pinlock anti-fog insert, 3 flat surface panels to attach a GoPro adhesive mount to, a microfiber face shield bag (for when you're using goggles instead and want to carry the visor with you) and a couple of extra interior padding parts to enhance and adjust the fit of the helmet. To top it off, the X.WED2 is prepared for a Nexx X-COM Bluetooth Communication system to be seamlessly integrated.
