Looking around me, I see that many have only half-gotten the message that we must be equal to men, and the vast majority of people are ignorant of the scapegoating that the powerful and wicked use on women and many minorities, in order to preserve their power and privilege. Conspiracies are the rule in circles of power, and there is a vast one being perpetrated by religious leaders and ultra-wealthy, connected men in the U.S. and elsewhere. Their chosen enemy is the equality of all people, and so that country's quasi-democracy sinks into morbid senility. Will equality perish as a hope everywhere? Let's sit back and watch.
