The books are intended for paramedics both student and experienced as well as those who are employed in the early response to prehospital emergencies. The author is a vastly experienced intensive care paramedic, university lecturer and road accident rescue team leader. He has experience in communications, flight and management. He managed the clinical practice guidelines and work instructions for a major metropolitan ambulance service, has contributed to numerous medical textbooks and has previous interests in prehospital research.
