Big documentation of Rainer Werner Fassbinder's tv series ''Berlin Alexanderplatz'' that has been shown at the Berlinale 2007 in a restored version. Exhibition at Kunst-Werke Berlin until May 13th, 2007. nnThis publication contains 530 pages with film stills from the legendary series that Fassbinder had done for the German tv. Beside the film stills from the thirteen parts of the series the book contains the complete script. nnFassbinder's monumental TV adaption of D?blin's Expressionist novel and its history of reception from heated debates to unanimous praise, documented in 570 film stills, the complete script, and essays by Fassbinder, Susan Sontag and Klaus Biesenbach. nnPublished on the occasion of the showing of the restored version at the Berlin Film Festival. This exhibition will travel to the MoMA in New York in October.
